Pacific Child and Family Associates Central Valley Art Exhibit

Pacific Child and Family Associates (PCFA) Fresno’s first art exhibit “Through My Eyes: Original Works of Art from Children with Autism,” far exceeded our expectations. We would like to thank our clients who produced many pieces of unique art work which beautifully improved the appearance of our office. We were all so happy to see so many of our clients and their families here and to meet their friends. It was a great chance for everyone to really enjoy themselves. The response to the art, the clowns, the face-painting, games and art projects room was so positive. What a treat to was to also have Brian Gallo and Jon Ayala read from their book Superhero Day. It was a very happy occasion for all of us.
We also have to thank everyone in the community for supporting this event. We really appreciated how every one went the extra mile (and it was a pleasure to meet so many of you.) We have to thank Wawona, Hostess, I Love Sushi, Konica Minolta, National Raisin Company, Leprinos, Vina Pacifica, Dollar Tree and Clovis Christian Church for donating food, beverages and other items that helped make it special. Don Hodges and Tabitha Taylor were incredible and invaluable in helping us pull this together. We want to thank FEAT FMC and so many others for helping get the word out. And, of course, the PCFA families for donating food and their time preparing for and during the exhibit – above and beyond: Jovonnie, Valerie, Adrian and your families!! We again want to say thank you to everyone who helped with and attended this year’s exhibit. It would not have been a success without your involvement.
We could not have asked for a better outcome for this event--KMPH Fox Channel 26 10:00 news even came out and talked about the event and gave some background on ASD. The success of the day was more than we could hope for and we are looking forward to doing this again next year.
